In this episode of Berlin 26.2 podcast, Joan Pons Laplana from Sheffield, UK shares his running journey. Joan started running during the pandemic by recommendation from his mental health counselor to see if it helps him with PTSD that he developed as a nurse during pandemic. After his first run he slept for straight 8 hours in months and never looked back. On top of it he is the fastest marathoner in Christmas Cracker costume which got him to Guinness Book of World Records in 2023 Berlin Marathon. He also had another record in Guinness Books in 2022 but was broken a couple of months after. 2023 Berlin Marathon was his 2nd World Majors.
